NASTAR - Jan 2010 results from Winter Park, CO

Developed by SKI Magazine in 1968, NASTAR (NAtional STAndard Race) is the largest recreational ski and snowboard race program in the world.  

During the Ski and Snowboard season, the Tulsa Ski Club strives to have a race representative for each of the trips to get those interested signed up for NASTAR. We do this for fun mostly, but we also do it for competition at the annual Flatlands Ski Association event held in Colorado. This is where we compete with the other Flatlands Clubs throughout the Midwest. It is great fun. 

There is competition for ski racing at all levels from beginner to expert. Every ability and age is welcome and encouraged to participate. The purpose is fun, camaraderie, personal improvement, and an awareness of ski and snowboard competition. There are also snowboarding and snowshoe races and a novice race for those who have never before participated in NASTAR.
